1.NAMASIVAAYA VAALGA  NATHAN THAAL VALGA

நமச்சிவாய வாஅழ்க நாதன்தாள் வாழ்க

            நமசிவாய என்னும் திருஐந்து எழுத்து மந்திரம் வாழ்க

NAMASIVAAYA

NA    =       Pride

MA    =       Impurities in mind

SI      =       Lord Siva

VA    =       Lordess Sakthi

YA     =       Atma, soul

     If pride and impurities in our mind go away, lord Siva and Sakthi come and sit in “ATHMA”. If we give importance to “I” and “I AM” the pride comes   and sits in our soul, then the five senses in our body works and impurities in this world come in and occupies our ATMA, afterward pride and prejudices are the rules of our mind and not god.

     This Siva legend show the way for having oneness with god and live peacefully in this world. If we give importance to our ATMA it will guide us to live “Load kindly light” life. This internal light shows the right path and lives peacefully in this world. If we work according to the guidance of this mind then all the activities are god sanctioned one. Then there is no impurities in our action if we act according to the guidance of five external sense argons  (eye, mouth, ear, nose and skin)  then all the activities are motivated by external world pleasure, it will lead to wrong way and impurities comes into our mind.

     This sivapuraanam show the way, how we live with internal harmony and avoid external maaya(pleasure) forces . If we guide by internal forces we are good person if we guide by external forces; we are bad persons. OM NAMASIVAYA manthra guides to get god blessings and live peacefully in this world as well as in the upper world ( mothcha)

     So this word NAMASIVAAYA comes and rules our mind, then this god’s feet     we praise, this feet will shows us the right path. (If we soundly say the gods name and praise his feet it will show us the right way)

இமைப்பொழுதும் என்நெஞ்சி னீங்காதான் தாள்வாழ்க

கண்ணிமைக்கும்  ஒருமாத்திரைக்  காலம்கூட  என்  மனதைவிட்டு  அகலாதவன்  திருவடி  வாழ்க.

      He is not separated from me for an eye wink time, so we pride his golden feet

(wink = closing and opening our eye once)

கோகழி யாண்ட குருமணிதன் தாள்வாழ்க

கோகழி  என்னும்  தலத்தில்  எழுந்தருளி  எம்மை  ஆண்டுகொன்ட  மாணிக்க  மணியின் அருள்  வழங்கும்   திருவடி  வாழ்க.

Kokali,(Thiruperunthurai temple) ruler of this temple, who also ruled my mind, he is just like a diamond emanating  rays , so praise his golden feet.

ஆகம மாகிநின் றண்ணிப்பான் தாள்வாழ்க

ஆகம  நூல்களாக  நின்று  உயிர்களை  அணுகி  அருள்  வழங்கும்

திருவடி  வாழ்க.

     God don’t go and preach everybody separately so he gave us saintly books agama books, beside he stands and approaches us and giving his saintly preaching which will be just like a tidbit sweet candy. 5.AAGAN ANNEGAN ERAIVAN ADDI VALGA

ஏகன் அநேகன் இறைவ னடிவாழ்க

சிவபெருமான்  ஒருவனே  ஆகவும்,  பலராகவும்,  எல்லா  பொருட்களுக்கும்  தலைவன்  ஆகவும்  இருப்பவன்  அவன்  திருவடி  வாழ்க.

    He is the beginner of this world, so god is a only one person but he created in this world, all the visible  things sand, trees, animals, fauna  and flora  land living, water living beings visible invisible  insects, virus and bacteria so we can’t count all the god created things and living beings ,it is innumerable. In every species there is animate and inanimate things, God embedded in it the invisible form. In a wet spoon full of soil, there is more than half of this world population number of small invisible insects. We only find     not more than 10% organism. In this soil the remaining organisms we are yet to find out. So he pervades all the animate and inanimate things in the farm of soul. So the creator of thing worldly things, we praise his golden feet because all are help full to our life.

வேகங் கெடுத்தாண்ட வேந்தனடி வெல்க

மன ஓட்டத்தைத்  தொலைத்து அடியேனை ஆட்கொண்ட இறைவன் அடிகள் வெல்வன ஆகுக

     In this world we can measure light speed rays speed and measure weight all the visible things. But we can’t measure the speed of our mind. We are with the help of mind working speed we have done so many things in this world. But when we sit and think at the good old years we don’t done anything permanently in this world all are transisenary one.

     At the old age god comes to our mind and stop speed of thinking and instead he conquer our mind and turned our mind inwardly and giving regard for internal gods call, so he is the rules of our mind we did not won anything permanently in t his world but god own our mind so we praise his golden feet. At this age we are satisfied and contented person, who gave this power of internal satisfaction so we praise him.

7.PRAPU ANUKKUM PINGAGAN THAAN PEI KALALGAL VELGA

பிறப்பறுக்கும் பிஞ்ஞகன்றன் பெய்கழல்கள் வெல்க

  பிற வியாகிய மரத்தை ஆருக்கும் அறுக்கும் இறைவனது திருவடியில் செறி

   He, who is the only person terminates this cycle of birth and death, he is in golden color and always in   dancing mode so his anklets emanate sound. These golden feet always be in winning mode.

8.PURATHAARKU SAIYON THAN PUNGKALALGAL VELGA

புறத்தார்க்குச் சேயோன்றன் பூங்கழல்கள் வெல்க

     Those who are in ATHIEST way of thinking they are far away from them. He won’t do harm or good, allow them to proceed according to their own will. So his flowery feet will always win them in future until then he will wait for them.

The owner only give something to others, we only the possessors’ of  these worldly things, such as house land and other movable properties, It may onetime come  and another time go , while we are wealthy person we can  give something to other  while we a poor person we can’t  give any things to other.

     So god is   the only person he will always be in giving position without expecting anything in return, so he called EESON.

தேச னடிபோற்றி சிவன்சே வடிபோற்றி

                    He, who is in the THEAGES(golden light form) so we praise his feet Sivan (EEASAN)such lotus red calor  feet we praise him

நேயத்தே நின்ற நிமல னடிபோற்றி

     GOD will take abode only in loving heart and soul he, who naturally free from impurities we salute to his feet

மாயப் பிறப்பறுக்கும் மன்ன னடிபோற்றி

     He, who only the strength and capacity to terminate this cycle of birth and death he is the master of this life so, we solute his feet

15.SEERRAAR PERUNTHURAI NAM THEVANADI POTRI

சீரார் பெருந்துறைநம் தேவ னடிபோற்றி

     Thiruperunthurai lovely abode where he comes and settled down and giving benevolences to his devotes. We praise such god golden feet.

16.AARRATHA INBAM ARULUM MALAI POTRI

ஆராத இன்பம் அருளுமலை போற்றி

When we eat a same food repeatedly after sometime our stomach won’t like it we will vomit it. But god’s grace is ever ending one; there is no saturation point until our death so he is like a mountain. We salute him.

17.SIVAN AVAN EN SINTHAIYUL NINRA ATHANAAL

சிவனவன்என் சிந்தையுள் நின்ற அதனால்

He, who is lord Siva taking above in my feelings and standing there forever this is his nature.

18. AVAN ARULALY AVAN THAL VANANGI

அவனரு ளாலே அவன்தாள் வணங்கிச்

Only by god’s grace we could pray his feet.

19.SINTHAYI MAGILA SIVA PURANAM THANAI

சிந்தை மகிழச் சிவபுரா ணந்தன்னை

If we are repeatedly chanting Siva legend, it will give pleasure into our mind.

முந்தை வினைமுழுதும் மோய உரைப்பனியான்

     Solution has been gotten to my past misdeed if, I repeatedly chanting Siva legend.

கண்ணுதலான் தன்கருணைக் கண்காட்ட வந்தெய்தி

பொல்லா வினையேன் புகழுமா றொன்றறியேன்

    I am filled with all the wrong doing, I don’t know how will I praise you ( the method of praising I don’t know).

புல்லாகிப் பூடாய்ப் புழுவாய் மரமாகிப்

    ‘HITHERTO’ I have taken all the birth just like grass, garlic, insects and tress.

பல்விருக மாகிப் பறவையாய்ப் பாம்பாகிக்

             He crated all the moving and immovable articles in this universe, he is also in the form of cell.

31.ELLA PRAPPUM PRANTHU ELAITHAN EMPEUMAN

எல்லாப் பிறப்பும் பிறந்திளைத்தேன் எம்பெருமான்

     I have been taken birth in the form of all the worldly objects, but I am not satisfied I have only dissatisfied besides I have not gone on the progressive form, but only in the regressive form in morality. So I have been weakened one birth after another.

     I don’t have any real knowledge. But you gave the happiness and bliss, you are my leader.

அஞ்ஞானம் தன்னை அகல்விக்கும் நல்லறிவே

     You remove all the misunderstanding in my mind, you have pure and real knowledge, we have only relative and false and transisinary knowledge, by passage of time new invention comes in and then old knowledge becomes false.

41.AAKKAM ALAVU ERUTHI EILLAAI ANAITHU ULAGUM

ஆக்கம் அளவிறுதி இல்லாய் அனைத்துலகும்

     You have no begging no existence and no end. But in the worldly living beings

ஆக்குவாய் காப்பாய் அழிப்பாய் அருள்தருவாய்

     The external skin in our body covers white, red blood cells platelets, and other insects, always our body emanate dirty matters and materials all are covered  by skin and show us the better part of our body only.

Afterwards we are in sorry mood. Our soul will say you are a sinner you are doing all kinds of wrong thinks. You have no capacity to control your body, so there is split personality doer and knower.

Doer always does wrong think knower always warns you, so there is dug of war between mind and body. So you are not a complete noble person you are different person to cover this deficiency. We use all kinds of external materials such as costly cloths, costly cars etc. to imitate a good person to other but your own soul won’t accept it,so you are a complex person. If you want to rectify it you must be simple person. There is no split between mind and body. The mind says what is good to you and the body does the same think. There is harmony between mind, soul and body. If you are won over your body, you are a good person. If body wins over your soul you are wrong person. You are doing so many wrong activities. At one stage you can’t get sleep your mind will always chanting you are a bad fellow so you try to avoid this. You commit suside, take liquor, arrack etc.

விலங்கு மனத்தால் விமலா உனக்குக்

My mind is animal mind (animals catch and eat other animals and it won’t have any feeling of sin) but as you have god’s mind you don’t have any kind of impurities.

இன்பமுந் துன்பமும் இல்லானே உள்ளானே

     God has no happiness or sorrow because he has no expectation in life but we have it

நோக்கரிய நோக்கே நுணுக்கரிய நுண்ணுணர்வே

77.POKUM VARAVUM PUNARUM ELLAA PUNIYANEE

போக்கும் வரவும் புணர்வுமிலாப் புண்ணியனே

காக்குமெங் காவலனே காண்பரிய பேரொளியே

தோற்றச் சுடரொளியாய்ச் சொல்லாத நுண்ணுணர்வாய்

தேற்றனே தேற்றத் தெளிவேஎன் சிந்தனையுள்

    He reveals in to GANAM form, if our mind is in clear form he will appear in to it. Just like in clear water we can see a coin under it.  Knowledge means we can get knowledge about objective matter.  GANAM means we are by clear knowledge of these external objects and then how each object works what are the merits in it and dements in it.

   By GANAM by clear thinking how much how extent this external objects can be utilized for our well being and for realization of god is called GANAM. By the will power of soul we should avoid external object, wherever possible. That is called GANAM.

ஆற்றேன்எம் ஐயா அரனேஓ என்றென்று

I am in prisoner form I am unable to come out myself, so I raise my voice in tears, in many generations.

போற்றிப் புகழ்ந்திருந்து பொய்கெட்டு மெய்ஆனார்

மீட்டிங்கு வந்து வினைப்பிறவி சாராமே

        Real devotees won’t get birth in this mayaa world you have come here as a savior of my soul.

88. KALLA PULAKURAMBAI KATTU ALIKKA VALLAANE

கள்ளப் புலக்குரம்பை கட்டழிக்க வல்லானே

     These five sense organs always lead me to bad places and activities. This five sense bond is unbreakable you are the only person to destroy this bond.

89.NALEARULIL NATTAM PAYANRU ADUM NATHENEE

நள்ளிருளில் நட்டம் பயின்றாடும் நாதனே

   In mid night you are dancing with pleasure you are my leader.

90.THILLAIYUL KUTTHANE THEN PANDI NATTANEE

தில்லையுட் கூத்தனே தென்பாண்டி நாட்டானே

    In southern part of India in Tamilnaadu there is a place THILLAMPATHI(Chidambaram) where he always in dancing form, your god is giving blessing to devotees there, and then give heavenly place to real devotees.  This is his abode.

அல்லற் பிறவி அறுப்பானே ஓஎன்று

     In this world human being chanting these saints and god so that they get peaceful life in this world and after demise in the eternal world also get peace.

   In this first three decodes we need not do anything except praising the saints and live noble life, it will lead us to external world that is mothsha (heaven)
