Keerthi thiruvagaval

   As per the instruction of the god. Manikavasager went to (PULIYUR) CHITAMBARAM (MUTHOOR) and stand in the KANAGASABAI (god abode) without any action in still state

   Generally there is temple servant, who guides the lines and ask people to move quickly so that other can get the glimpse of gods face and feet.

    In this way the servant asks Manikavasagar to move away with harsh words.

    But Manikavasagar is SAMADI STATE (This is state in which you and god in oneness there is no separation, in this state there is no external organs works and hears)

    He is in that jubilant mode of mind and soul mingled with god.

   After some times Manikavasagar lips moves and says the words siva siva, his hands go above his head with folded state and go round the temple

   This mind of state he gives the following three pathigams(Decade) (there parts of this fifty one part of Thiruvasagam) they are,

   1.KEERTHI THIRUAGAVAL

   2.THIRUANDA PAGUTHI

   3.POTRI THIRUAGAVEL

 KEERTHI = Praising the lord Siva activities

1-8 lines = god is available everywhere and every living organism. He is in the form of knowledge (GANAM). If we see anything in this world, it silently preaches some GANAM (knowledge). Suppose we see a tree, it gives us oxygen, flowers leaves to eat and fruits after death it helps us in the form of wood to    burn our food.

  Just like in this world all the creators are living with the mind of helping to others. There is no selfishness but men only the selfish creature in this world. He gets benefits and asks why I should help others, moreover he destroys the nature which help him to live in this world nature is real teacher.  God is in the natural form not in the artificial form.

9-10 lines = god is in the above (Gana) knowledge form to get lift from this life. He gave Vedas (Rick, yajur, sama adarvana) and other ahama books to his devotees and saints to read and get real knowledge of life.

Our mind and soul have no capacity to understand this world wholly, only god by his looks instruct the mind and soul to know the real knowledge so he came in this world in the form of GURU (Teacher)

11-100 lines   here so many god’s abode is explained and where he acted so many dramas to save and guide his devotees.

101-126 lines = here god appeared in the form of Guru, god absolved him. God put his feet on his head and gave GANA knowledge and enlightenment to Manikavasagar.

127-135 lines = god appears before him and gave enlightenment and ordered him to go kanagasabai      (kanaga means gold, saba means knowledgeable persons assembling  place, that is Chidambaram.

    Afterwards god disappeared his follow followers unable to part Him, so many followers go into flames, so many go into coma state. So many cried please don’t separate form us you must always with us, so many murmuring, so many in the state of cow and calf separation. Those who destroyed their body they straightly go to KAILAYAM (mount KAILASH which is the god’s abode)

   But Manikavasagar according to god’s instruction He went to CHIDAMBARAM where he sat there with god’s devotees.

1.THELLAI MOOTHOOR ADIYA THIRUVADI

தில்லை மூதூர் ஆடிய திருவடி

   Lord Siva always dancing in SITHAMBAKAM ABODE, it is a place, good old place, by dancing he is creating this universe and living beings.

2.PALYEIR ELLAM PAINRANA  AAGI

பல்லுயி ரெல்லாம் பயின்றன னாகி

   Without any break he is always acting in the world’s living beings.

1.    ENNIL PALKUNAM AZHILPERA VILANGI

எண்ணில் பல்குணம் எழில்பெற விளங்கி

In lovely manner there are uncountable characteristic features

4.MANNUM VINNUM VANOR ULAGUM

மண்ணும் விண்ணும் வானோ ருலகுந்

   He created this world ,this cosmos, DEVAR world.

5.THUNNIEYA KALVI THORIYUM ALINTHUM

துன்னிய கல்வி தோற்றியும் அழித்தும்

  He creates material object knowledge ;  this knowledge begins, lives, and then ends. So many commodities appear and after some time disappear (This is called as MAAYAA)

6.EANUDAI ERULAI EAARA THURANTHUM

என்னுடை யிருளை ஏறத் துரந்தும்

This materially created world and comfort are permanent and giving regard to it, this is a maaya world. God after sometime gave this enlightenment that god is permanent we should only strive for it. All others are not permanent we should not be chained by worldly pleasure which are not permanent. God’s pleasure is only permanent and eternal and infinitive.

7.ADIYAAR ULLATHU ANBU MEETHURA

அடியா ருள்ளத் தன்புமீ தூரக்

   By realizing the above maayaa world they dissuade it and go to gods feet that state will give them love and compaction which melt their heart and they are in the state of god friendship. He is the only the relation in this universe. All other relations will disappear after some time.

8.KUDIYAA KONDA KOLKAIYUM SIRAPPUM

குடியாக் கொண்ட கொள்கையும் சிறப்பும்

    We are the citizen of god’s world; this concept will give all the glory in this world (to true devotees) who have conviction in god.

9.MANNU MAAMALAI MAGENTHARA MATHANIR

மன்னு மாமலை மகேந்திர மதனிற்

   The big mahendra hills, which are permanent.

10.SONNA AGAMAM THOTRUVITHU ARULIYUM

சொன்ன ஆகமந் தோற்றுவித் தருளியுங

    In the above abode he opened his mouth and gave us AGAMAS(God secret words). At first Siva gave ahamas to parvathi then parvathi gave it to NANDIDEVAN and  then nanthi  gave it to other rishes and sains. Through saits, we get this noble Vedas and AHAMAS.

11.  KALLADATHU KALANTHINI THARULI

கல்லா டத்துக் கலந்தினி தருளி

 In the abode KALLADAM he come and mingled with us and gave his sacred words.

12. NALLALODU NAIYAM PURA VEITHIYUM

நல்லா ளோடு நயப்புற வெய்தியும்

   He has good better half  that is parvathi devi, with her he always in good family relationship.

13.PANCHAPPALLIYEL PAALMOLI THANNODUM

பஞ்சப் பள்ளியிற் பான்மொழி தன்னொடும்

  In the PANCHAPPALLI abode, god gives us Tharsan (appearance) with uma devi (parvathi) wife. If she opens her mouth the words are likes milk like words(always positive good words)

14.ENJATHU EENDUM ENNARUL VILAITHUM

எஞ்சா தீண்டும் இன்னருள் விளைத்தும்

  Without any deficiency god and goddess gave us their blessings.

15.KIRAATHA VEDAM MODU KINJUGA VAAYAVEL

கிராத வேடமொடு கிஞ்சுக வாயவள்

 Lord Siva has taken hunter actor and parvathi also taken the some caste appearance her mouth is just like drum kin flower (with red appearance)(mul murungai flower).

  In mahabaratha legend there are five heroes they are DHARMAR, BEEMAR, ARJUNA, NAGULA and SAGATHEVN Their brother THURIYOTHANA wrongfully got their kingdom and driven then out for 14 years to foest.

    To get back their land, Arjuna goes in to penance and prayed lord Siva who is the possessor of all the wealth in this universe.

   He prayed in penance to get passupatha a war instrument to enhance his might to fight. Lord Siva has taken the form of hunter and parvathi hunter wife and came into the forest.

    To destroy Arjuna’s penance one assuraa taken in the form of pig. To destroy the pig god Siva put an arrow on it at the same time Arjuna also put an arrow. Two arrow struck the pig and the pig died. Two are gone there and claim this pig belongs to me, then there is quarrel and after words there is fight between Arjuna and lord Siva. Arjuna struck lord siva with his bow in forehead. 

     Lord Siva with his arrow caught him and with his hand he lifted him and tossed in the air.  He went away and fell down ; without any fear and come back to fight with lord Siva.

   God appreciated his fearlessness and gave the arrow pasupatha which destroys anything in this world.

16.VERAAYU KONGAI NALTHADAM PADINTHUM

விராவு கொங்கை நற்றடம் படிந்தும்

   Because of this good deed they( parvathi and siva) mingled together   and enjoyed life

(If a lover is a good samariyan naturally his loved one jumped in joy)

17.KEAVEDAR AGI KELERE ATHU PADUTHUM

கேவேட ராகிக் கெளிறது படுத்து

     God Siva has taken the actor form of fisherman and killed the shark in the sea, which killed so many persons earlier

    Parvathi devi once asked Siva to teacher her Vedas, god says, to hear Vedas a some sort as maturity and patience is required. You have not attained that stage.

     But parvathi got angry. I am your better half. I have all the qualities to hear Vedas so teach me Vedas.

    Then lord Siva sits and started to reveal the real meaning of Vedas, after some time parvathy concentration diluted and thinking some other events. Lord Siva realized it and got angry and cursed to go into the world and get birth of a fisherman daughter. Parvathy has realized her sin and appealed to remove from this cursing.

    After lord Siva’s angry reduced and then told her at appropriate time I will come there and marry you don’t worry about it.

   Parvathi devi in the pandiya kingdom go and get birth of fisherman caste, while he was slowly and steadily growing, puberty sets in, her parents want to marry her to some good handsome young man. Mean time a shark fish appeared in the sea and killed so many fishermen. Parvathi devi’s father is the head of fisherman. They came and complained to him.

     Mean time Siva has taken fishermen form. He is young and energetic. He goes before the fisher head man, and announced that I will kill the shark, he announced in the same manner he killed it in the mid sea and come back with the shark.

    As already announced, he got married parvathy. They appeared in the deity form and gave blessing to fisher man community . This shark is an assura who taken away the Vedas and hide in the sea. The same has been retrieved by the god. 

     Brimadevan, he is a servant of lord Siva, his work is to create all living beings in this world according to their past deeds.

18. MAAVET AGI AAGAMAM VAANGIYUM

மாவேட் டாகிய ஆகமம் வாங்கியும்

    In a big paper all the agamas are written and kept in preserved manner. It was stolen by an assurra and which was retrieved by lord Siva.

19.MATRAVAI THAMMAI MAKENTHIRA ERUNTHU
மற்றவை தம்மை மகேந்தி ரத்திருந்

    The above those agamas are given by lord Siva at the top of MAHENDRA hills.

20.UTTRRA EYEMUGALAL PANITHU ARULIUM
துற்றஐம் முகங்க ளாற்பணித் தருளியும்

    The above ahamass are given by five faces of lord Siva. He had given it by command.

21.NANTHAM PADIYIL NAAN MARAI YONAAI
நந்தம் பாடியில் நான்மறை யோனாய்

    In one of the abodes of lord Siva’s NANTHAM PAADI, where he preached four Vedas.

22.ANTHAMIL AARIYA NAAIAMAR THARULIYUM
அந்தமில் ஆரிய னாயமர்ந் தருளியும்

    He comes in the form of bharamin disguise and preaches Vedas which is infinitive bliss.

23.VERU VERU URUVUM VERUVERU EAYARKAIYUM
வேறுவே றுருவும் வேறுவே றியற்கையும்

    So many types of creatures and so many types of inherent characteristics are passed to each type of creation.

24.NURU NURU AYERAM EAYALPINA AGI
நூறுநூ றாயிரம் இயல்பின தாகி

    In this world so many types of commodities and living beings, which have possessed so many different type of characteristics features

25. AARUDAI EEASON EPPUVANIYAI UIYAA
ஏறுடை ஈசன்இப் புவனியை உய்யக்

     To travel lord Siva has employed young ferocious bull, he comes and retrieve this world from destruction.

26.KUARUDAI MANGAIYUM THANUM VANTHARULI
கூறுடை மங்கையும் தானும்வந் தருளிக்

      Lord Siva has given half part of his body to SIVAGAMASUNDARI(parvathy) they always be in the form of couplet which is essential to live peacefully in this world (marriage is a necessary evil which we can’t avoid it). This is minimal evil. All others are bigger form of evil so we must like it.

27.KUTHIRAIYAI KONDU KUDANAADU ATHANMISAI
குதிரையை க் கொண்டு குடநா டதன்மிசைச்

   He brings horses for selling in the eastern part of Tamil nadu.

28.SATHURPADA SAATHAAI THAN ALUNTHU ARULIYUM
சதுர்படச் சாத்தாய்த் தானெழுந் தருளியும்

     He is a wise business man who sells horses, in the guise form of business man. God cleansed this world and gives his blessings to all.

29.VEALAM PUTHUR VITTE ARULI
வேலம் புத்தூர் விட்டே றருளிக்

In the abode of VELAMPUTHUR he appeared as UKKIRAKUMARAJA PANDIYAN and then he blessed his son lord MURUGA and gave him an fighting instrument (VEL).

30.KOULAM POLIVU KATEIYA KOLKAIYUM

கோலம் பொலிவு காட்டிய கொள்கையும்

    The concept of showing; his lovely figure to this world.

31.THARPANNA MATHANIL SAANTHAM PUTHTHUR
தற்பண மதனிற் சாந்தம் புத்தூர்

     There is a hunter who last all his hunting belongings in the fight. He has no source to retrieve it so he sit in meditation and prayed lord Siva “OM NAMA SIVA” he repeatedly saying this manthra. After some time this sound entered in to the heaven. Lordess parvathy asks Siva to go and give some benefits to him. He goes to this world and asked that hunter what do you want. In what way I will help you. The hunter asked his hunting instruments. The lord asked him why you can’t ask wealth so that you can get rid of this hunting profession. The hunter replied that I want to work and eat, I don’t want to be an  idle person and eat without any work . It is a sin on my part.

    Besides I have good health, so I want to work if I won’t work in this forest, so many animals abundantly increase and destroy this forest by eating all the leaves and vegetation. Then I have to move this place. It is my home I want to live here and preserve it and live here.

    In this god’s world balance of power must be maintained. Otherwise destruction will arise so I am a part of this world. I want to do my duty. God pleased his reply and there is nearby a MIRROR, he gets all the fighting instruments arrow, bow, knife, sickle etc from the mirror and gave it to him.

    God has special powers, by mere thinking, he will brings all the worldly instruments. There is no raw material required for his creation. By mere seeing and thinking it is enough for god. In this world what is required for our well being god gives us, with mere prayer. But if we want luxury articles, god won’t give it to us.

33.VIL PORUL VEDARKU EANTHA VILAIVUM

விற்பொரு வேடற் கீந்த விளைவும்

  The hunter who has the habit of fighting with animals, god gives him fighting instrument. This is his nature.

34.MOKANI ARULIYA MULUTHALAL MEANI
மொக்கணி யருளிய முழுத்தழல் மேனி

     HORSES have a rare eye sight they have capacity to see four to five feet away. They have no power to see one to two feet distance. Because of their eyes are not in forehead just like human beings. They are on either side of the head.

     If you put one feet near to it anything to eat, it can’t see and eat it besides it will waste it.

     Especially horses are given a kind of grain named as KOLLU  in TAMIL. There are boiled and softened and then put it into a small bag and tied the bag into neck of the horse to eat it. The horse keeper afterwards remove the bag from its neck .This is a daily feeding practice.

     There is a place KOTTUR in eastern part of Tamilnadu near KUMBAKONAM.

     There is a horse trader who always takes bath daily. And then pray lord Siva chanting god’s name  so many time and then after wards goes for eating.

      One day his wife brother comes and stayed there for a few days, he is not a god fearing person so he wants to fool his uncle. He put sand into the horse back and put in a dark place and flowers and garlands put on it, and a light is lit up there.

      The trader went there and saw Siva lingam there and prayed and chanted his name so many times and went for food. His cousin brother laughed loudly and saying you have prayed horse bag not real god and then went near it and tried to lift it. But he was unable to lift it because lord Siva actually come and sit there in the suyambu (suyambu form) in some temples god image is not made by stone. But it naturally arises from the earth. Once such temple is WORAIYUR PANCHAVARNESHVARAR he is in suyambu form. There is a proverb ”WOOR ENA PUDUVATHU WORAIYUR”.

     If you want to see an ideal place to live it is woraiyur, where god chanting will hear one place or another. This is a holy place from time immemorial. River Cauvery running nearby . Devotees take bath in it and chanting god songs and reaches temple and pray god.

34.SOKKU ADHU AAGA KATTIYA THONMAIYUM

சொக்க தாகக் காட்டிய தொன்மையும்

      He radiates as a horse trader just like 24 carat gold. In Tamil it is called SOKKA THANGAM. So god name is SOKKALINGAM. He shows his true face to all in the abode.

      If you worship with full devotion,  god will always be there.

35.ARIYODU BRAHMARKU ALAVARI YONNAN
அரியொடு பிரமற் களவறி யொண்ணான்

      God created THIRUMAAL as a servant to preserve the entire humanity and world.

      THIRUMAAL created by his umbilical card;  Brahma who is also Siva’s servant who does creation of (worldly beings)according to the past K ARMA(DEED).

       These two persons once fight for one another, they alone are the god. At last there comes before the lord Siva. They themselves decide.

       I will see his feet VISHNU says, BRAHMA  says “I will see his hair”.

       Brahma has taken the form of ANNAPARAVAI a kind of lark and VISHNU taken the form of pig and excavated the land to see his feet.

       After so many  yugas they got tired and unable to see the head and feet.

       Just then lord Siva appeared before them in the form of big fireform,they are unable to see the beginning and end of this fire. They accepted that Siva is real god(Prime god).

36.NARIYAI KUDHIRAI AAKIYA NANMAIYUM
நரியைக் குதிரை யாக்கிய நன்மையும்

       He converted all the forest jackal as horses and handed over it to the king ARIMARTHANA PANDIYAN.

       Manickavasagar is a chief minister of pandiya king, Arimarthana Pandiyan. PANDIYAN realized that his cavalry fighting force size is reducing. So he asks his chief minister Manickavasagar to go eastern sea side, there Arabian horses are arriving for sale, to get it and strengthen horse battle force. He gave lot of gold and asked him to go and buy horses. He went on, at one place he saw lord Siva in the GURU teacher form and give preaching to others. He went straight and sat as his disciple. The lord kept his feet on his head he got at once all the real knowledge(GANAM).

    There after Guru disappeared. Their Manikavasakar started to construct Siva temple there, and then completed it with the help of gold. The king knowing this by secret spy that he is constructing a temple. He asked Manikavasagar to come with horses immediately. He prayed god and god said to him you go and tell him that on one fine meaning that the horses will arrive. At that day lord Siva as a horse soldier  arrive with huge number of horses the king astonished on seeing the big size of horses and gave huge gold as gift to the soldier lord Siva. The leader of this horse soldier won’t accept extra gold as gift. Then all the horses and sent to staple, where they tied with robe. At night all the horses turned as poxes again and eaten the already remaining horses there.

   On realizing it the king got angry and sent Manikavasagar into prison, mean time a huge amount of water gushers on the bank of river VAIGAI. The king ordered one person in the house hold should come and raise the bank of river Vaigai.

    There is one good old lady called Vandi. He has no sons or daughters. He is unable to send a person on behalf of to raise the bank of river on his assigned part of place.

    Mean time lord Siva come there and agreed to take the assignment on behalf of her, he wants to get the remuneration first. She is a poor road side eatable vendor he has rice cakes, there is no sale on that day. He gave him residue part of rice cakes the lord Siva got it and eat it and take something in his cloth and knotted it. He went to the bank of river VAIGAI. He first filled a head load of sand and put it in the river bank. After words he asks others who are working there to come here and gave his remaining part of residue rice cakes to them to eat. After words he plunged in to the river and swimmed. After some time he takes rest in the tree shade. At the evening all the banks are raised except his part. There the king came and got angry and wanted to know the reason. The minster there explained that he did not worked he pretended to be working. King got angry and a cane he has in his hand, beat him in his back. There is a cry all over the world. Because that cane beat is gotten by all living beings in the world including the king. Then lord taken a head load of sand and put it there the river lank raises and flooded river slowly subdued.

 The king realized that he is not an ordinary person and realized his mistake and freed  Manikavasagar from the person and asked   to be his prime minister again but he declined to accept the position.

    He wants to serve the god, the king allowed him to go according to his wish.

     Mean time the Vandi lady goes to heaven all of them are seeing this scenario with surprise.

    No work no food. This is manthra of god. Even god is not spared this rule of law, every person according his might must work and live in this world. Every person must stand on his own legs.

    This siva puranam tell us that god is in all the living beings if god gets punishment all the living beings get that punishment. Because one way or other we are pretended to work hard but we are not all work at our might.

37.AANDU KONDU ARULA ALAGURU THIRUVADI

ஆண்டுகொண் டருள அழகுறு திருவடி

     To relieve his disciple Manigavasagar  from the kings angry, he came her as a horse soldier and relieved worldly bonded work. Then he showed his golden feet to follow him.

38. PANDIYAN THANAKU PARIMAA VITRU

பாண்டி யன்தனக் குப்பரி மாவிற்

    Gold sold horses to pandiya king.

39.EENDU KANAGAM EASAIYA PERAA

றீண்டு கனகம் இசையப் பெறாஅ

      He gave excessive gold above the accepted one. He denied receiving the excess gold.

40. AANDAAN ENKOON ARUL VALI IRUPPA
தாண்டான் எங்கோன் அருள்வழி யிருப்பத்

     God showed Manikavasagar the right gana path, he won’t deviated from it and goes on.

41.THOONDU JOTHI THORRIYA THONAIYUM
தூண்டு சோதி தோற்றிய தொன்மையும்

     Just like a lamp light he showed his fire form to me in my beginning days.

42.ANTHANAN AGI AANDU KONDU AURLI
அந்தண னாகி ஆண்டுகொண் டருளி

    In the form of ANTHNA ACHARIYA;  he descended  to this earth and, he made me as his disciple.

43.INDERA GALAG KATTIYA EALPUM
இந்திர ஞாலங் காட்டிய இயல்பும்

    He came just like a magician and he attracted me in his fold and at once disappeared from my vision.

44.MADURAI PERUNAN MAANAGAR IRUNTHU
மதுரைப் பெருநன் மாநக ரிருந்து

    He has taken abode in the Meenakshi sundareswarer temple in Madurai, it is a big city.

45.KUTHIRAI SEVAGAN AGIYA KOLGAIYUM
குதிரைச் சேவக னாகிய கொள்கையும்

    He has decented in this world as a horse soldier. This is his concept. It means to save his fallow disciple he will take whatever lower form as the situation requires. He has no shame in it.

46.AANGATHU THANNIL ADIVERKU AGA
ஆங்கது தன்னில் அடியவட் காகப்

    Besides Manikavasagar there is also a disciple a good old lady vandi, whose profession is selling in road side rice cakes.

47.PAAGAAI MAN SUMANTH ARULIYA PARISUM
பாங்காய் மண்சுமந் தருளிய பரிசும்

    In a lovely manner god has stopped the flooded water in vaigai river.

48. UTHTHARA KOSA MANGAIUL IRUNTHU
உத்தர கோச மங்கையு ளிருந்து

   God has taken an abode in the uthrakosa mangai place.

49.VITHAGHAGA VEDAM KATTIYA EAYALPUM

வித்தக வேடங் காட்டிய இயல்பும்

He came as Gana Acharya form of characteristics.

50.POOVANAM ATHANIL POLINTHU ERUNTHU ARULI
பூவண மதனிற் பொலிந்திருந் தருளித்

     In olden days there is a place called Poovanam there is a lady called as ponanaiyal, she has showered her love to god and his followers. He always prepares food for the Siva devotees and freely supplied to them. She had a feeling to create gods figure in the metal of gold and wanted to pray it. But she has not sufficient gold to create a god’s figure so he mentally suffered for it.

    After some time, god comes in the form of Sithar( a saint form) and asked her to bring all the IRON materials in her horse asked her to place it in the central place.  Sithar, who touched with his medicinal leaf hand all the iron turned into gold and ordered her to create a gods figure in the gold form and then you pray it accordingly. She created golden god and prayed with it. This is called Rasavadam in Tamil.

    In Tamil nadu saint have the capacity with the help of medicinal leaves. They can convert any material into other form including gold.

   They have capacity to alter proton, electron, nutron numbers and change the iron into gold this is called Rasavadam.

51.THUUVANA MENI KATTIYA THONMAIYUM
தூவண மேனி காட்டிய தொன்மையும்

     He showed his body in the form of gold.

52.VAATHA OORINIL VANTHU ENITHU ARULI
வாத வூரினில் வந்தினி தருளிப்

    He has taken the abode in the Thiru vaathavoor and gave blessing there.

53.PAATHA CHILAM POLI KATTIYA PANPUM

பாதச் சிலம்பொலி காட்டிய பண்பும்

   He allowed devotees to hear his anklets sound in that way he showed his value.

54.THIRUVAAR PERUNTHURAI SELVAN AGI
திருவார் பெருந்துறைச் செல்வ னாகிக்

  He descended to thiruperunthurai and he is so intimate to devotees.

55.KARUVAAR JOTHIL KARANTHA KALLAMUM
கருவார் சோதியிற் கரந்த கள்ளமும்

     There are so many lights sun, moon, fire etc. All the lights have one prime light in it. God has secretly disappeared as a thief in them. That light is internal enlightenment of our body, where he secretly sits there as a thief. We have wandered all over the world and all religions in every nook and corner and one temple to another. We are unable to see him in the external world. So SAINTs and Ganniees go internal and search god. They realized that he secretly hidden inside our soul as a light form if we give regard this light allowed to speak with you it will guide you in the external world. What to do what not to do. If we follow it sincerely  at all times. You have oneness with god. Whatever available in the universe, the same is available in our body in the micro form. This microform has capacity to control the macro form.(by love only we can control god)

      All the Pancha budhas are available in this universe Five budhas (because of it, vastness we call it budhas)1.Earth 2.Water 3.Heat 4.Wind 5.Space.

1.Earth: Whatever we eat is come out in the form of night soil, this is called earth.

2.Water: Our body has 70% of water.

3.Heat:Our body maintains a particular level of heat by burning the food 98.2F.

4.Wind:We daily inhale wind and exhale wind.

5.Space:Above our nose all are in the space form: If we close our eyes and see sunlight in the morning we can easily see so many planets are moving in the closed eye skin. This is called universe.

       The abode poovalam where he appeared in the lovely manner and giving blessings to his devotees.

57.PAAVANASAN AAKIYA PARISUM
பாவ நாச மாக்கிய பரிசும்

   He destroyed mercilessly all the sins of our body.

                                                   58.THANEER PANDHAL JEYAMPERA VAITHUM        

தண்ணீர்ப் பந்தர் சயம்பெற வைத்து

        He put up free drinking water service to help pandiya to win over the war.

         Long long ago a pandiya king lived there. He showed abundant faith in lord Siva. He ruled the nation in the name of god. There is also a chola king who heard pandiyas ruling skill and devotion to god. He sent appropriate person to pandiya king and asked to marry  Chola kings daughter. Pandiya king accepted the marriage proposal. On hearing this pandiya king’s younger brother invaded the chola state and asked the king to allow him to marry his daughter, if you don’t accept it come and meet him in the battle field. The chola king has small army, he was not in a position to win a big army so consented to give her daughter to him, there marriage is sol monished.                        .

      After sometime the chola king with the help of his son in law invaded Arya state. They won the war. Then there comes ego in the mind of son-in-law;he wanted to invade his brother pandiya state with the help of his father-in-law. The pandiya king came to know with the help of a diplomatic person.

      He prayed before the CHOKALINGA PERUMAAL(Siva)to help him in this typical situation.

       God instructed, go and fight the war at appropriate time I will come and help you. Accordinly the king goes to war with enemies, at that time there is excessive summer heat.

        The chola warriors unable to face the heat because of thirsty all were dead in the battle field.

      For pandiya king in the battle field somebody put up free water supply camp and helped pandiya soldiers to quench the thirst; that water is in sweet form. The rejunuated warriors easily win over the opponent warriors and captured alive the chola king and his younger brother.

         By returning on the way back to his kingdom, there is no free water supply camp. He realized that god has come over there and helped in the war. This is one of the god’s good deeds (Thiruvilaiyadal)(god’s play).

59.NANNER SEVAGAN AGIYA NANMAIYUM           
நன்னீர்ச் சேவக னாகிய நன்மையும்

    he wants to give benefits to pantiya king by way of pure water in the guy of servant

60.VIRUNTHINAN AGI VEN KADU ATHANIL
விருந்தின னாகி வெண்கா டதனில்

    In the abode of Thiruvenkadu he descended as a relative to eat food

61.KURUNTHIN KEEL ANRU ERUNTHA KOLKAIYUM

குருந்தின் கீழன் றிருந்த கொள்கையும்

    God sits under the kurutha tree and gives preaching to his disciples.

62.PATTA MANGAIYIL PANGAAI ERUNTHU ANGU
பட்ட மங்கையிற் பாங்கா யிருந்தங்

    He comes in the abode of Pattamangai he showed his appearance in the lovely manner and then give blessing to his devotees.

   God’s permanent abode is in Thirukailayam which is situated in Tibat land there six IYYAKIMATHAR (six ladies who have taken position of lord Murga(siva’s son)in six form). Each one has taken position of one child and reared him.

   After their work is over they go to lord siva and asked him to teach ASTAMA SITHIES(eight type of special power) as a reward, as per the request god begins to teach them eight type of special power. The teaching goes on so many days. They are unable to learn calmly. Their mind wandering some were

  God got angry and cursed them to go into stones in Pattamangai. They pray for pardon. After some time gods angry reduced and then he said that  he will come at appropriate time to save you.
  after some times their penance in this stone form is  over god goes there and keep his feet on the stone and all the six once again gain the lady status.

  There god preaches the eight special powers to them.

Eight sithies are

1.ANIMA : one can convert himself as a small insect with special Manthra words (magic words)

2:MAHIMA: one can convert himself into a gigantic figure

3.LAGIMA: one can convert himself into weightlessness

4.EASATHUVAM: Personality to win over others and kept them under his control

5.PROPTHI: you can get whatever you want

6.VASITHUVAM:just like magnet you will attract others

7.PARAKMIYA:sexual attractness

8.CAMAVASITHUVAM: you go and get whatever you want

 These are the wrong base to satisfy your interest. Once you caught under it control you can’t be retrieved back.

If you want to go heaven you should not have used all these powers. They are transisinary in life and divert your attention to go straight away. Your objective is to go to motcha(heaven) or oneness With god.

63.ATTAMA SITHI ARULIYA ATHUVUM

64.VEADUVAN AAGI VENDURU KONDU
வேடுவ னாகி வேண்டுருக் கொண்டு

 He has taken the hunter figure. He likes his hunter form

Long long ago one chola king inwarded one state after another and got ego that no one has strength to with stand him. He inwaded pandiya kingdom. Pandiya king has no sufficient solders to with stand the chola king. He prayed lord siva to save him in this critical situation.

  Lord Siva asked him to fight with whatever force available and I will help you at appropriate time.

  Having faith in god, he fought the war and own with astonishment

while chola king confronted with pandiya king. Pandiya king prayed the god and fight took between two kings.

Mean time a soldier in the horse bag came and pushed back the pandiya king, and fight with the chola king .

 The chola king roared what a small fellow you are. You fight with me.

I will capture you and your horse alive. The horse man acted as frightened man and retread back with horse. The chola king go fast and try to corner him, at that time an artificial deep water appear before the soldier. He and his horse go fast and submerged in it. The king who also comes as fast as the soldier unable to control the horse speed he also submerged in the deep water body and died.

  Pandiya king is seeing all these activities and then understood that lord Siva came in the form of hunter on the back of horse and saved him from this situation.

65.KAADU ATHU THANNIL KARANTHA KALLAMUM
காடது தன்னிற் கரந்த கள்ளமும்

He goes into thick forest and disappeared there.

66.MEIKAATITU VENDURU KONDU
மெய்க்காட் டிட்டு வேண்டுருக் கொண்டு

ally shows the appropriate person’s figure and gets whatever form he wants.

One day pandiya king has a fighting force leader, his name is Sundarasamanthan

He has devotion on lord Siva and his followers

At that time a king named as SETHIYAPPAKON, he is a hunter king

He proposes to inward on pandiya kingdom. Pandiya king came to know this matter with a spy he called his leader of forces and ordered him to collect a big force. He gave a lot of gold for this purpose.

The leader gone away and there he saw Siva’s devotees. They are in hungry so he daily prepare food for them and then supplied to them. Six month has passed the king got angry and ordered the leader that I want to see the forces tomorrow itself.
  The forces leader prayed to lord Siva (SOMASUNDARA PANDIYA) to save him in this situation.

   As per the order of the king a big force came and stationed outside the country. On seeing the force the king so much pleased. At that time one spy came there in running form and told the matter that the sethiyyappakon was killed by a lion.

On hearing this news the king got relived of his tension. Simultaneously the forces leader and the forces disappeared immediately.

  Pandiya king praised the CHOKALINGA PERUMAN for his act.

67. THAKKAN ORUVAN AGIYA THANMAIYUM
தக்கா னொருவ னாகிய தன்மையும்

He turned into an ideal person

68.OORI URIL UGANTHU ENITHU ARULI
ஓரி யூரின் உகந்தினி தருளிப்

   In yoori yoor abode god came there and sit with pleasure and gave his blessings.

   In yoori uyoor a siva pharamin lived with Siva devotee he offered food daily to followers of Siva. After some time he goes into poverty state.

   He  was unable to fix marriage to his daughter because of his poverty. A vainava bhiramin came to ooriur and agreed to marry her. After simple marriage she went to father in law house. After some time they came to know that she is a saivatty (sub caste of phiramin) they disregarded and gave her excess work and teasing. His husband also did not care for her.

Every day there is so many vaisnavaa devotees came there and got food. She was unable to feed Siva devotees. She felt sorry.

One day all of them gone out to attend a function in a nearby village. They did not do any provision for her food.

 They locked all the rooms and taken away the keys. She was in hungry state.

 At that time a Siva’s saint came there and asked food from hem. She swept to see the rooms are closed. The matter is informed that old Siva’s saint. He asked her to go near the door, the door will automatically open. As he instructed she goes near the door and the door automatically opened. She takes rice and other provisions and prepares food for him. After eating the food he turned into handsome young fellow.

At that time her mother in law came there; She afraid of that her mother in law will crush her. Immediately that young man turned into child. The child cried for milk mother in law asked her how this child has come here. She replied a bhiramin lady came here and asked to rear this child.

Her mother in law got angry and ordered to go away from the house with this child.

  On coming out that child turned in to lord Siva with an eye on forehead. This lady also turned into parvathi(siva’s wife).

   They sat in the bullock back and went to kailaayam.

69.PAARIRUM PAALAGAN AGIYA PARISUM
பாரிரும் பாலக னாகிய பரிசும்

    In this land he converted himself into baby child.

70.PAANDUR THANNIL EENDA ERUNTHU
பாண்டூர் தன்னில் ஈண்ட இருந்துந்

   In paandur he spread everywhere which he can’t be distinguished with others.

71.THEAVUR THENPAAL THIGAL THARU TTHIVIL
தேவூர் தென்பால் திகழ்தரு தீவிற்

In theavur there is small islet.

72.KOVAAR KOLAN KONDA KOLKAIYUM
கோவார் கோலங் கொண்ட கொள்கையும்

  Thevur is a place which is situated in the Sothern side of kelvellor. From there, there is place THEELAMPALPURAM once it was an island.

  There ruled a king who was very good ruler, all the people liked him very much. But suddenly one day he died. Those people were unable to bear the loss and prayed the god. God descented and himself turned into ruler and ruled that place for a long time. The people lived there happily.

73.THEANAMAR SOLAI THIRUVARUIL
தேனமர் சோலைத் திருவா ரூரில்

     There is honey flower spot, which is covered by thiruvarur.

74.GAANAM THANNAI NALKIYA NANMAIYUM
ஞானந் தன்னை நல்கிய நன்மையும்

 God gave ganaa preaching for the betterment of the human beings.

75.EADAI MARUTHANIL EENDA ERUNTHU
இடைமரு ததனில் ஈண்ட இருந்து

 In thiruvidaimaruthur so many disciples are there so they are in conjusted form.

76.PADIMA PADAM VAITHA APPARISUM
படிமப் பாதம் வைத்தஅப் பரிசும்

   Once he was stayed in thiruvidaimaruthur, god kept his feet on his(Manikavasagar) head and blessed him.

77. AAGAM PATHIN EAYALBAAI ERUTHU
ஏகம் பத்தின் இயல்பா யிருந்து

Today name is KANCHIPURAM , the old name is thiruvegambam. Where he stayed alone in the natural form( this space )

78.BAAGAM PENNODU AYINA PARISUM
பாகம் பெண்ணோ டாயின பரிசும்

 He gave half of the body to parvathi(uma devi) this is his special characteristics

Once god Siva and his wife uma devi in secluded place. At that time for play purpose uma devi closed two eyes of Siva with her fingers. At once the whole world plunged into darkness. God got angry and cursed her to go kanchipuram and stay in penance form, at appropriate time I will come and marry you.

 Accordingly uma devi goes there and created siva linga by sand in the bank of KAMBAI RIVER bed, daily she prayed that siva linga. One day a big flood comes there. Uma devi don’t want to lose Siva lingam. So she preserved it in folded hand.  At that time god came there and then blessed her, and married her with their parent’s permission.

79.THIRUVAAN CHIRATHIL SEER PERA ERUNTHU
திருவாஞ் சியத்திற் சீர்பெற இருந்து

  God seated in thiruvanchiyam abode with pride

80. MARUVAAR KULALI ODU MAGILNTHA VANNAMUM
மருவார் குழலியொடு மகிழ்ந்த வண்ணமும்

  He has  mingled happily with the snake lady, she wore incense hair

Once upon a time one snake vergin girl daily performs siva prayer with floral tribute. As time goes her love of god increases uncontrollable state. One day she mingled with god. Before knowing her passion, he converted her in to uma devi and mingled with her

In that abode goddess name is VALAVANTHA NAYAKI (she comes here to live with siva)

  That naga (snake) sexual motive fulfilled here so the place name is thiruvanchiyam(desire satisfying place)

81.SEAVAGAN AGI THIN SILAI YEINTHI
சேவக னாகித் திண்சிலை யேந்திப்

    God turned into fighter and have mighty bow on his hand

82.PAAVAGAM PALAPALA KATTIYA PARISUM
பாவகம் பலபல காட்டிய பரிசும்

   He has taken so many actors state and did so many good deeds

One chola king tried so many ways and failed to win the pandiya king. There after he went to SAMANA SAINT and prayed to destroy the pandiya kingdom. The saint created a magic power elephant and ordered to destroy the pandiya kingdom. On knowing these the pandiya king prayed to lord siva to save the people from the distruction.

  As per god’s order there is a big ATTALAI MANDAPAM (elephant poached place) created. While the elephant goes into attalai mandapam god comes in the form of bow warrior and shoots the magic elephant with his arrow and saved the king so god’s name is ATTALAI SEVAGAN.

83.KADAM POR THANNIL EDAM PERA ERUNTHUM
கடம்பூர் தன்னில் இடம்பெற இருந்தும்

   In kadampur abode god stayed there with active state .

84.EENGOOI MALAIYIL ALILATHU KATTIYUM
ஈங்கோய் மலையில் எழிலது காட்டியும்

   In thiru eengoi hills he showed his lovely face.

85.AYYARU ATHANIL SAIVAN AKIYUM ஐயா றதனிற் சைவ னாகியும்       He has taken the position in thiruvaiyaru as adi shivas state        In thiruvaiyaaru there are twenty five aadishiva families. They are doing pujayas to god. One of them wanted to go kaasi a holy place. He left his wife and daughter and his belongings and his timing of pujayas(They divided the archaga time and do god services accordingly)       After so many years he did not come back and take his position in the temple.       Others decided that he may be died there and others have devided his property among them.        Then the family left out without anything to eacking their living. They are in poverty state. They prayed the god to show a way to live here.       One day early morning the aadishiva came back with a ganga water in a pot. He gets back his right in the temple and showered ganga water on lord Shiva and daily did his ritual to god.         He did not went to his house he stayed in the madam(a place where holy people stay)          After sometime a person just like him came there. There was a quarrel between them who is a real priest.          Then the quarrel went to judge. Two are showing palm leaf as their right to establish.          The judges decides the false palm leaf as a original one and the first person is the real person. The second one who comes here is a false person.           The second person is the real person who prayed before EYEAARAPPAN what shall I do to establish my identity. You are only a real knower. He prayed and weft before the god.           In the mean time the first person disappeared from the Seen. All were astonished and realized the first who came here is god himself to save his family.            So they decided god himself performed poojas for himself.            Even today the name ATHMA pooja(The pooja performed by himself)conducted in CHITHRI TAMIL month fifth day, in that day there festival conducted). 86.THURITHI THANIL ARUTHIYODU IRUNDHUM துருத்தி தன்னில் அருத்தியோ டிருந்தும்     He stayed in KUTRALAM old name is THIRUTHRUITHY with love and passion.     In this abode god demanded with his better half named MUGILAMBIGAI(PARVATHY)and teaches     to saint. He stayed in the shadow of KUTRALAM tree.      In VELVIGUDI he showed his face with marriage state and lovely appearance he bestowed his benevolences to his devotees. In Thiruthruithy he appeared with love and settled there. 88.THIRUPANNAI YOURIL VIRUPAN AGIYUM திருப்பனை யூரில் விருப்ப னாகியும்      In Thirupannaiyur with Will he settled there. 89.KALUMALAM ADHANIL KATCHI KODUTHUM கழுமல மதனிற் காட்சி கொடுத்தும்      In SEERKAALI old name THIRUKALUMALAM he appeared as father and mother before the devotees. 90.KALUKUNDRATHANIL VAZHUKA THIRUTHUM கழுக்குன் றதனில் வழுக்கா திருந்தும் In THIRUKALUKUNRAM, without fail he appeared. 91. PURAM PAYAM ATHANIL ARAM PALA ARULIYUM புறம்பய மதனில் அறம்பல அருளியும்    In Thirupuram payam he taught ethics to the world. In Thirupuyam   there is a love marriage without the consent of their parents. At that time it is a (wrong thing). The bride is a Siva devotee her parents won’t allow to marry his relative, uncle so they eloped one day.   God won’t allow his devotees without any securities. So god himself came over here and performed their marriage in a grand manner. To show that they are vergin girl and boy to this world. The marriage performed before VANNE TREE, well and SIVA LINGA.      Just like god did so many plays to maintain ethics in this world. 91.KUTRALATHU KURIYAAI IRUNTHUM குற்றா லத்துக் குறியா யிருந்தும்     Once Siva and Parvathi marriage day is fixed on hearing this all the people in India want to see celestical wedding. So all went to mount Himalayas.(THIRUKAILAYAM) so the land balance is not in even form. The southern part goes upward. To stabilize the land, god asked AGASTHIYAR (one of MAHA RISHIES) to go to southern part so that the land will balance evenly. He is such a kind of powerful yogi.      He accepted with some distress god asked the reason for his distress. I am not in a position to see your marriage that is the reason.” Don’t  worry,” on the day of marriage, you will also see the marriage before you.   So he went on happily. Afterwards he never went northern side. He stayed permanently in the southern part.    He goes so many places.     Once he went to KUTRALAM. There is a THIRUMAL TEMPLE . He went inside for prayer. He is appeared in his forehead ashes (THIRUNEERU). They won’t allow him to pray god. Next day he went inside in the queue as a VAISNAVATTE that is in his forehead three namaas, three line one white in the centre and two red line in both sides.     He went straight into the KARPAKRIGA(god’s place) and kept his hand in the head of VISHNU (THIRUMAL) and asked him to slowly reduces size and at lost he converted into siva linga. From the day this temple turned into Siva temple even today we can see it in KUTRALAM. 92.ANTHAMIL PERUMAI ALAKURU KARANTHU அந்தமில் பெருமை அழலுருக் கரந்து        Ever ending glow of fire, he, who god, disappear from my eye sight. 93.SUNDARA VEDATHU ORUMUTHAL URU KONDU சுந்தர வேடத் தொருமுத லுருவுகொண் He is the principal actor of figure, in a beautiful manner. 94.INDRA GNALAM POLA VANTHU ARULI டிந்திர ஞாலம் போலவந் தருளி He showed just like magician in this world. 95.EVEVER THANMAIYUN THAN VAYIR PADUTHUM எவ்வெவர் தன்மையுந் தன்வயிற் படுத்துத் Whatever characteristics possessed by all, he will control and conserve with him. 96.THANE AGIYA THAYA PARAN EMMIRAI தானே யாகிய தயாபரன் எம்மிறை    In every person’s soul he serves as a unique person. He wanted to sit under hit feet and see Siva’s ANANTHA THANDAVA  (jolly dancing of Siva) he saw this dance in this place so this place is called PULIYUR. 142.KANITHARU SEVVAAI UMAIYODI KAALIKU கனிதரு செவ்வாய் உமையொடு காளிக்    The mouth of Umadevi and KALI are in the form of red color which is the color of a KOVAI fruit.    Once, an asura named as THIRU GASWARAN. Umadevi has taken the role of KALI and cut the Thrugaswaran. His blood spread in the ground every drop as blood turns into hundred of ASURAS. KALI killed all the asuras and drank all the blood of those asuras. So she got mad and tried to distroy  the entire world.      Lord Siva comes before her and asked her to dance with him. Lord Siva performed so many verities of dances the same was performed by the KALI DEVI.    Then lord Siva with his foot he dismantled his ear rings and afterwards put it in it place. This dance is not performed by the KALI. So she accepted her defeat and his madness slowly reduced. And then pray god feet and get rid of ego and might. 143.ARULIYA THIRUMUGATHU ALAGURU SIRU NAGAI கருளிய திருமுகத் தழகுறு சிறுநகை    By giving blessings, in his face there is smile. 144.ERAIVAN EENDIYA ADIYAVARODUM இறைவன் ஈண்டிய அடியவ ரோடும்     God got intimacy with his fellow followers. 145.POLITHARU PULIYUR PUKKINITHU ARULINAN பொலிதரு புலியூர்ப் புக்கினி தருளினன்     He comes and stays in Puliyur which is excelled in all kind of features.
